Listen to Lou’s conversation with Executive Producer Susan Winston. In her mid-20’s, Susan was put in charge of Good Morning America where, as a young Executive Producer, she turned that show into a ratings powerhouse and a cash machine just when ABC really needed the money. Susan produced innovative Olympic coverage, worked with Woody Fraiser and created The Other Half with Dick Clark, Danny Bonaduce and Mario Lopez. Now she is a Psychotherapist with a thriving practice. We met in her office where we talked about her career as a “go to” Executive Producer for Daytime content.
Susan is very involved with the charity One Sky for All Children which, among other good works, helps US families adopt at risk children from China. You can find a link to One Sky below:
ABOUT: Games, Gab & Gossip
Before Social Media was invented, the national conversation started on television. Shows like Donahue, Hard Copy and Oprah brought fresh ideas, debate, controversy and opinion to viewers every day. Here on this program, we will talk with the creators, executives and celebrities who connected us, back in the day. These storytellers used mass media to make intimate topics and personal details part of our national culture, way before Social Media brought that kind of content to the devices we carry around every day.
